1. What Are Cookies and Local Storage?

Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device by web applications you visit. In addition to cookies, Audiory utilizes browser HTML5 Local Storage, Session Storage, and Pixel Tags (web beacons) to store authentication state, optimize music audio playback performance, and collect aggregate usage data.

2. How We Use Cookies on Audiory Platforms

Audiory uses tracking technologies across two distinct areas of our ecosystem:

Creator Dashboard & App

Maintains secure login sessions, preserves your split calculation tables, remembers active upload workflows, and prevents cross-site request forgery (CSRF).

Smart Links & Landing Pages

Measures fan click-through rates (CTR) to Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube. Tracks geographic source and referrer domains without storing PII.

3. Third-Party Analytics & Ad Pixels

Audiory allows record labels and independent artists to optionally integrate third-party tracking scripts into their custom Smart Links (e.g., Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Ads). When fans interact with these links, third-party cookies may be set by those platforms subject to their respective privacy policies.

4. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

You can restrict or block cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies may impact dashboard authentication, catalog upload features, or split payout functions.
