Legal Workflow

How Infringement Claims Are Handled

Notice Submitted

Copyright owner files a formal, signed DMCA notification identifying the infringing master WAV/metadata or ISRC track code.

Takedown & Lock

Audiory promptly removes or disables access to the targeted track across DSP platforms and freezes associated pending royalties.

Uploader Notified

The account owner is notified immediately with a copy of the claim and given 10–14 business days to submit a legal Counter-Notice.

Resolution / Court Action

If no court lawsuit is filed within 14 days following counter-notice, the content and frozen royalties are restored to the uploader.

Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable international laws, Audiory Distribution has adopted a strict policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at Audiory's sole discretion, account holders or subscribers who are deemed to be repeat infringers. Audiory may also at its sole discretion limit access to the Service and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.

Misrepresentations & False Claims

Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to severe statutory legal liability and monetary damages, including legal costs and attorneys' fees incurred by the alleged infringer or by Audiory Distribution.
